Last year I resigned from NETS as coordinator at the distance department after serving for seven years. It was not easy to make that decision and to rely on God. I believe that ‘everything is possible for him who believes and that nothing is impossible for God’. My prayer also is, ‘Lord, I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief’’. When things are not going as expected, doubt sneaks in and questions such as “Did I make the right choice?”, but the Holy Spirit comforts me to ensure that God will reveal Himself in due time and that time is near.
To be a missionary is not an easy calling, because people don’t see it as a job. God called people to serve Him and to serve people who need God.
Sometimes you feel like some of the prophets in the Bible, alone even in the midst of others!
God laid it upon my heart to focus on training children and youth workers. To be a mouthpiece for them to their churches. To start with Kids Clubs (want to change the name to something special), home cells with house wives and the elderly people. Another need in our community is the school drop-outs that has been neglected with the Gospel, I trust that God will give me the wisdom and guidance how to reach them.
I just want to reassure you that I will not be all over the place. I‘ll train others to be involved in ministry. We are all called to serve Him, either being involved fulltime/part-time in the ministry or to send and support those to serve in the mission field.
May the Lord Bless You,
Sebastian
